1. Overview

Aavrti ("we", "our", "us") is an IT solutions company based in Surat, Gujarat, India. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information when you visit our website at aavrti.in, submit a contact request, or apply for a position on our team.

By using our site you agree to the practices described in this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

2. Information We Collect

We collect information in the following ways:

  • Contact form — name, email address, phone number, company name, and the message you submit.
  • Job applications — name, email, phone, resume/CV file, LinkedIn or GitHub profile URL, and any information you include in your application.
  • Usage and analytics data — pages visited, time on page, referrer, browser type, device type, and approximate location (country/city level) collected via Google Analytics and Firebase Analytics.
  • Cookies — session and analytics cookies. See Section 7 for details.

We do not collect payment information. We do not collect government ID numbers, biometric data, or sensitive personal categories as defined under applicable data protection law.

3. How We Use Your Information

  • To respond to contact and project enquiries you submit through the site.
  • To review and process job applications and communicate with candidates.
  • To understand how visitors use the site so we can improve content and performance (analytics).
  • To send occasional updates if you subscribe to our newsletter (you can unsubscribe at any time).

We do not sell your data to third parties. We do not use your data for automated decision-making that produces legal or similarly significant effects.

4. Data Storage and Third-Party Services

Our website and applications use the following third-party services which may store or process data on their infrastructure:

  • Firebase / Google Cloud — contact form submissions, job applications, and resume files are stored in Firestore and Firebase Storage. Data is stored in Google Cloud servers.
  • Google Analytics — anonymised usage data is processed by Google. You can opt out via browser extensions or by declining cookies.
  • Vercel — the site is hosted on Vercel's edge network. Standard server access logs (IP, request path, timestamp) may be retained by Vercel per their own policies.

Each third-party service operates under its own privacy policy. We encourage you to review the policies of Google and Vercel if you have concerns about their data handling.

5. Data Retention

Contact form submissions are retained for up to 12 months after the enquiry is resolved, then deleted. Job application data is retained for up to 6 months after the application cycle closes. We may retain anonymised analytics data indefinitely as it contains no personally identifiable information.

If you request deletion of your data before these periods expire, we will action the request within 30 days (see Section 8).

6. Data Security

We apply reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data: Firestore security rules limit read/write access, file uploads are stored in private Firebase Storage buckets, and all data in transit uses HTTPS/TLS encryption.

No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security but we commit to notifying affected individuals promptly in the event of a data breach that is likely to result in risk to their rights.

7. Cookies

We use the following categories of cookies:

  • Essential cookies — required for the site to function (e.g. language preference stored in localStorage). These cannot be disabled without breaking site functionality.
  • Analytics cookies — Google Analytics and Firebase Analytics cookies that help us understand usage patterns. These are set only after you consent via the cookie banner.

You can manage or withdraw consent at any time by clearing your browser cookies and declining analytics when the consent prompt appears on your next visit.

8. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you.
  • Request correction of inaccurate data.
  • Request deletion of your data ("right to be forgotten").
  • Object to processing of your data for certain purposes.
  • Request a copy of your data in a portable format.

10. Governing Law

This Privacy Policy is governed by the laws of India, including the Information Technology Act, 2000 and applicable rules thereunder. Any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts in Surat, Gujarat.
