The Challenge
A regional media company needed a full-stack OTT platform — live streaming, VOD library, multi-device support, and subscription billing — in a tight timeline ahead of a content licensing window.
Our Approach
We built a React/Next.js web app and Flutter mobile apps sharing a single Firebase backend. Adaptive bitrate streaming via HLS, Stripe-based subscription tiers, and an admin CMS for the content team. Deployed on GCP with auto-scaling.
Outcome
Launched on schedule. 50,000 active subscribers in 8 months. 99.97% uptime across the first 6 months of operation. Content team went from manual uploads to self-service publishing in week 2.
